Antique Native American Indian beaded pouch. Dates to circa 1890 to 1910. Plateau Indians.After we listed this we received a message from an eBay member telling us that this is from the plateau region, possibly Western Montana, and dates to circa 1900-1910. This seems correct to us. We found a small note inside this pouch. The note claims it to be Chippewa. We think that might be incorrect. We included an image of a map of the plateau region, with some or most of the tribal ...reservations circled in red.Antique. Has wear from age and use. Some bead loss. Good condition. No repairs or restorations. Approximate measurements: 12" X 10.25", 15 ounces.
