Grumbacher Box #10 Pierre August Renoir assortment. A RARE FIND FOR THE SERIOUS PASTEL ARTIST! UNUSED! NO LONGER MANUFACTURED!
Once the staple of serious pastel artists everywhere, Grumbacher, does not make soft pastels anymore. This is a boxed set containing 180 absolutely pristine unused and original pastels. All pastels have sat in the same position they were in when they left Grumbacher factory decades and decades ago. All of the pastels have their original wrappers with c...olour names. My guess is these are from the 70s.I saw only two broken pastels of the 180 in the box. Two trays of 90 pastels each, with protective foam over each tray (foam not pictured). The box is badly scratched, there is a crack that runs through a fastener but on the whole it is in tack and functional. MAYBE ONE OF THE LAST OF THESE SETS AVAILABLE ANYWHERE! INCREDIBLE GIFT FOR THE SERIOUS ARTIST! I will carefully pack for mailing or can possibly arrange to meet to drop off in New York City or Hudson Valley New York area.
