Greetings, and welcome to this auction for a very nice vintage Les Paul case in great condition. This case appears to be late '60's to early '70's, with a BEAUTIFUL purple plush lining thats in excellent, VERY clean condition. It has a nice interior compartment thats in equally great shape. (The purple lining has a blackish appearance in some pic's... thats just the nature of the purple material (velvet or velour) and the lighting. Its a uniform deep purple color).
The exterior... of the case shows a little wear in the vinyl around the bottom edge as pictured, and there is a small nick at the top edge of the case, also pictured. Those items do not affect the cases structure or integrity in any way... the case is very solid. There are a minimal amount of nicks and scratches in the exterior vinyl, typical of a 45+ year old case. It has the appearance of being used, but taken care of.
All the latches and hinges are nice and tight, and work properly. The case handle is in excellent shape, and the metal case feet are intact. No case lock key.
All in all, its a very nice vintage Les Paul case in solidly great condition. It'd be excellent for any for Les Paul, and absolutely perfect for an older Les Paul that needs a nice vintage case.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
