For many decades this rare set has been referred to byadvanced collectors as "Orange Borders." In 1910 the "Geo. DavisCo., Inc." and the "P.R. Warren Co." of Massachusetts togetherissued this striking and extremely rare package-design set, with two cardsfeatured on each box of "American Sports - Candy and Jewelry" (one onthe front, and one on the back). It is rare to find even common-player samplecards from this issue, let alone Hall of Famer Ty Cobb, as featured here. TyCobb is by far... the key card to the set. Graded POOR 10 by SGC, the obviouscondition flaws include creasing and back damage from album removal. Only (11) of these have been graded...(1) by PSA and (10) by SGC.
