Strange Tales #1 from June, 1951."Qualified" CGC Graded 4.5 (Very Good Plus condition) with Off-White to White Pages. Label notes: "Manufactured without staples."This was a very strange book, from the original owner horror collection that I have been selling recently. It came to me with three extra (non-manufacturing) staples through the book along the spine; these staples were added because the book was never stapled during the manufacturing process! I was advised to remove thes...e extra staples prior to grading, as the book would receive a qualified grade either way, so I carefully removed them; six tiny staple holes were left behind, though they are barely noticeable. While the book only graded 4.5, it likely would’ve graded substantially higher if not for these excess staple holes.
