Commodore 64Fully cleaned and tested 'silver label' Commodore 64 home computer. This is the earliest version of the Commodore 64 from 1982 (326298 rev A main board) with 5-pin video output and 6581 SID chip. This unit has serial number S00028389 and was made in U.S.A.. Everything works 100% including the 6581 SID chip.
The computer is in great cosmetic condition. Very clean with only minor scratches or marks as is typical for anything of this age. Two sets of case clips missing (cas...e stays closed fine). The FCC labels only seen on the earliest manufactured Commodore 64s are present. Please see photos.
A neat feature of this early board is that the RAM chips and VIC-II are ceramic. All chips are dated mid to late 1982. The PLA is an early revision (REV3/8411). This unit exhibits the famous video "sparkle bug" only found in the character ROM of the earliest units. These early chip revisions are very rare today as affected units were commonly replaced by Commodore (and in the process would also replace the silver badge with the more common rainbow badge).

Power Supply
Includes original power supply. This is the early repairable version of the power supply which has been tested to verify that all supply voltages are within spec.
Box
The original box (matching serial number) and styrofoam inserts are included. The box shows wear from storage but is still in good physical shape and cardboard is stiff.
