Beautiful Vintage - IBM Selectric I typewriter -Very Rare - Blue 11" carriage - Personal Typewriter Built in 1974 - MADE IN THE USA - "Fabric Ribbon". Hello, I am a former IBM Customer Engineer and I just did a major rebuild to new specifications. The typewriter was chemically washed, re-oiled & greased & adjusted. The main center hub was replaced with a metal hub instead of plastic along with a new motor drive belt, operational shaft bearing and rotate tape. The paint job is origi...nal (2 minor nicks, rear RH side, see pics ). Also has the original repair history and the original dust typewriter cover (cover has some signs of wear and cuts in the plastic but I patched the cuts from the inside with clear packing tape). Both inside "black" dust covers were replaced but the black and yellow labels are original. The clear plastic "end of paper" indicator on the RH platen knob was cracked, fixed it with super glue (see pics).
