Vintage Leica 1 Camera, Serial No. 60670 with Leather Case - For Restoration
Based on its serial number (60670) this camera dates from 1931. It features a Leitz Elmar f3.5 50mm lens. Camera is solid and complete with expected wear. A couple of the things needing attention are a minor dent on the bottom plate and a temperamental cloth focal plane shutter. Sometimes it works properly and snaps right across, but often it hangs up and closes slowly. There may be other issues I am not aw...are of. This is why I am selling the camera for repair and restoration. The original leather case is in good used condition, however the previous owner wrote his ID on the inside of the case.
