HERE WE HAVE: A vintage set of recessed bathroom medicine cabinets/mirrors! Marked as being Miami Cabinet Division pieces by Carey. Three piece set, one larger cabinet in the middle and two side cabinets! Each cabinet has four glass shelves inside,... the larger one has a few extra slats for changing shelf height. I'm not sure if the shelves are all original, since they do vary some in appearance. Large cabinet also has a razor blade disposal slot in side.Comes with the hardware screws shown (one is broken and will need replaced!)
In the photos, I included a picture from a 1955 catalog that features a similar setup (although it has a different shaped center mirror). This is only included for reference and is not included in the sale! CONDITION: Acceptable, used condition! Pulled out of a mid-century styled bathroom in NE Ohio. Mirrors look good, with a light surface scratch here and there as well as a couple very small dark spots. (the spots in the main photos are reflections of damage to my white board and not the mirror!) Corrosion spotting spread throughout the inside and to the recessed back and sides. Discoloration spots inside as well as some scuffs/scratches. The glass shelves inside have some chipping to the edge where they bump against the sides of the cabinets, doesn't affect usability. The chromed edges have a bit of clouding and surface scratching, I included a closeup of the worst of the scratches I noticed. Please see photos!
MEASUREMENTS: Large cabinet's front measures approximately 18 1/4" wide and 28 3/8" tall at furthest points. The recessed portion measures about 15 5/16" wide, 21 1/4" tall. and 3 3/8" deep.The small cabinets each measure approximately 10 1/4" wide and 28 1/4" tall at the front, and then the recessed portions measure about 8" wide, 24 1/4" tall, and 4" deep.
