Fabulous vintage art deco or art nouveau sofa from VargasFine Furniture a long-established high-end furniture store in Topeka Kansaswhich is no longer in existence. It is comprised of wood frame and carved walnutdetails in its original, but very distressed, off white floral printupholstered fabric. Wood has age-appropriate wear and although we love thepatina, most will want to redo and reupholster, we have priced accordingly. Pleasesee photos. Circa 1930-1940’s. Hello Beautiful!...! This lovely art deco, or is it artnouveau, sofa comes from Vargas Fine Furniture which was an upscale furniturebusiness located in Topeka, Kansas but has now closed. It is comprised of arich walnut frame and wonderful carved details. It has beautiful flowing linesand the original off-white fabric with a delicate floral print. We love thepatina on the wood of this beauty however, some may want to refinish, and weunderstand that it will need to be reupholstered, so we have pricedaccordingly. The seat cushions are removeable for convenient fluffing andcleaning. Three large carved and detailed walnut feet in the front and two morenarrow rectangle feet in the back give this sofa a solid and sturdy base.
