Click images to enlarge Description Very Rare authentic ancient Indian Aryan antenna pommel sword, Vedic Period (Vedic Age) 1500 – 500 B.C. Northern India. The sword is made of cast and hand hammered copper with brad tapering double-edged blade formed with a pronounced medial ridge on each side.
CONDITION: In excavated condition, but well-preserved, in very nice and stable condition, blade slightly bent with some losses to edges. The surface is covered by a beautiful green patina and earth encrustation.
MEASUREMENTS:
Overall length: 37 cm (14.57 inches)
Width of the antenna pommel: 10 cm (3.94 inches)
