Upfor auction is this Antique Samuel Marti French Slate Clock for MapleCo. Thisclock is for parts or repair only.Ido not have the pendulum to test the working of the clock. Theclock does strike a gong on the half hour and counts the hours as itshould. Theclock has a black slate case. Theslate will need to be re-glued as the pieces move. Thereis tape along the bottom of the clock. I do not know what the tape isfor but I left it on there. Theclock has bronze plaques on the front of the c...lock. Theplaques represent (to me) Roman Soldiers riding horses with chariots.Thedial of the clock is white porcelain.Thereare no chips, cracks or repairs in the porcelain of the dial. Thedial is marked - “Maple & Co. Ltd”Themovement of the clock was made by Samuel Marti. Themovement is also marked - “Maple & Co LTD France”Iam sorry I do not have the key or the pendulum for the clock.
