Up for sale is this pair of charming delicately moulded ormolu garniture in the shape of a couple figures. The casting of the motifs is of marvellously well defined quality. These delicately cast pieces can be used either to add rich detail to an opulent decorative scheme, or refinished to add detail to a country house mirror, clock or small cupboard, or just placed on a pedestal as an ornament. There are signs of wear and tear and verdigris on the figures.They measure about 9.7 cm eac...h. Each has one small hole on the tip of the hand and one below the foot. They are quite heavy.Please note that all measurements are approximate.
