This is a fantastic looking vintage ROLEX stainless steel & 14K yellow gold OYSTER PERPETUAL "Bubbleback" watch from 1949. It is in OUTSTANDING condition throughout with beautiful dial that was re-finished sometime in the distant past. It is a reference number 5015 and 620xxx serial number. This comes with the beautiful black and gold Rolex dial shown, and comes on a new black leather strap and gold tone buckle. It features an automatic Rolex movement and is running great. It is 1...00% guaranteed authentic and accurate as written.
It is in fantastic condition, especially for an 70+ year old watch!! It did not come with box or paperwork, but is 100% guaranteed authentic and accurate as described. It is offered to you with NO RESERVE!
Movement: Rolex automatic movement. It is running well and from our limited observation it appears to be keeping good time. However it has not been professionally timed or serviced since we have had it. Therefore, it may not be keeping time according to the manufacturers strict guidelines of accuracy, and we make no representation that it is.Bracelet: Brand new 17mm black leather strap, with gold tone buckle. It measures 9+ inches tip-to-tip and should fit most wrists.
Case: Stainless steel 32mm wide case (not including lugs or crown) with: 14K yellow gold bezel; 14K yellow gold generic crown and solid stainless steel caseback.
Crystal: Rolex scratch resistant plastic crystal. Looks to good to be the original. No need to change it in my opinion.
Dial: Rolex black & gold concentric dial that was professionally re-finished sometime in the distant past. It has: Arabic markers; blued (once luminous) hour/minute hands; blued sweep second hand. Fantastic vintage look with gorgeous patina!!
This is a great looking vintage watch, that is a perfect size for men or women. It is clean and looks tremendous on the wrist! As stated above, due to the age it is sold AS-IS and no returns will be accepted.
