Original painted A-2 Flight Jacket. The 825TH Bomb Squadron of the 15TH Air Force. Great Italian made tooled squadron patch and 15TH AAF shoulder patches. Leather name strip across the front. Rear is painted with a map of the Mediterranean zone of operations with a small B-24 Liberator above. Aero Leather Co label present. Size 38. General wear throughout as shownOn Jan-26-21 at 14:31:27 PST, seller added the following information:The jacket is named to Lt. Dana Stewart of the 825...th BS. His aircraft was "Toggle Annie" which can barely be seen, painted just above Germany, on the reverse painting. The jacket is actually nicer than shown in the pics. His crew and associated photos can be found through a quick online search. The jacket is a size 38..no further measurements will be provided given the historical nature of the jacket and the inability to actually wear the piece. The leather is 7/10 and is is still supple. The cuffs and waistband are rough. The zipper works.
