Large Vintage " Crazy Quilt " Made In Maine, Elegant Embroideries & Fabrics

A very beautiful and colorful vintage quilt in the pattern called "crazy quilts" from here in Maine. I would call the condition good as the only blemishes are with the fabrics in the silks which have deterioated over the years as one would expect. Very colorful, no fading or wear and backed with a nice solid green heavy fabric. The hand embroidery is exceptionally nice as you note when you mouse over the photos. Lovely detailed hand designs are added here and th...ere making it extra special. The piece measures 74" wide and 80" long. I have shown it lying on a king size bed. I especially like the piece with the hand embroidered oak leaf and acorn, so typical of Maine. The piece is dated "34" for 1934 the year it was completed.
