ONE OF SEVERAL ITEMS FOUND AT THE ESTATE OF A WELL TO DO WOMAN. SEVERAL ITEMS OF HIGH END CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES. THIS WAS ONE OF THE MANY ITEMS FOUND FROM HER TRAVELS.

I WAS TOLD THIS WAS LIKELY PURCHASED IN THE 40'S WHEN THE FAMILY TRAVELED TO WINTER IN THE DESERT.BLACK WAS NOT AS DESIREABLE AS THE BRIGHTER COLORS WHICH MAKES THIS A BIT MORE UNUSUAL.THE SNAP HAS A HAND H...AMMERED DECORATION - THE ZIPPER WORKS FINE.
THIS DOES SHOW A BIT OF WEAR - A COUPLE MOTH CHEWS / HOLES. THE INTERIOR HAS A HOLE, SOME RUBS ON THE OUTSIDE TOO. SOME LOOSE STITCHING NEAR THE ZIPPER. OVERALL IT'S IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE FOR A NEARLY 80 YEAR OLD CLUTCH. SEE ALL PHOTOS.
