Vintage Grandmother's Garden Hand Quilted Quilt. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Ah, such a beautiful treasure.
This gg beauty has 37 little pieces in every block. There are 38 whole blocks so that means 1406 pieces right there. Then there are 8 half blocks on the edges. So just an incredible amount of work to put those together.
The edge was a sweet pink satin (?) binding that is incredibly worn. There is about a 3 inch yellow border between the wh...ite background of the quilt and the pink.
Being sold in as found condition which means I did not launder.
The back is white, but has some staining.
There are at least 22 blocks without damage (the 23rd has a stain, but no holes/worn fabric). The others have some degree of wear in the fabric from almost not noticeable to lots.
This one measures about 75" x 82".
Questions are always answered and offers are always considered.
So it looks like I'm just telling you damage. I just want you to have a good picture. Because I love these old beauties, a little damage just tells me it's lived life!
