BBB's very best pipes were stamped "BEST MAKE" from around 1930 until the mid-1950s, when they switched back to calling their top-of-line line "OWN MAKE", and adding 4 grades within.So, that helps narrow this pipe down to about 25 years and places it at the top end of BBB's legendary line.This pipe is classic British refinement and quality.  Varied graining with a good portion being bird's eye.STAMPINGS:Shank-[BBB rhombus logo]"BEST MAKE"reverse shank -"MADE IN ENGLAND""662"Inlaid... brass logo on stem.Shipped USPS first class maill, stem and stummel wrapped separately.
