TAG HEUER CAMARO 12
men's watchmodel #7220N, serial number 168112,
made in Switzerland.
The HEUER CAMARO was one of the most stylish models from the late '60s and
one which continues to fly under the radar.
Named after the Chevrolet Camaro, this collectible is in a 37mm cushion-shaped case.The HEUER CAMARO was introduced in 1968, retired in 1972 and
was the last series produced before the company focus turned to Chronomatic-power...ed watches.
The CAMARO was never sold with an automatic movement.The incorporated "Valjoux 72" movement, supplied by Valjoux, is today part of the Swatch Group.The "Valjoux 72" is a three-register, manual-wind chronograph movement, used also in the Rolex Daytona.The "Valjoux 72" has the following dial layout:
3 o’clock: 30-minute chronograph register6 o’clock: 12-hour chronograph register and9 o’clock: running seconds.The watch features a plexi crystal.
This pre-owned watch with black leather strap has been cleaned, serviced andis in beautiful condition.
