We were fortunate to have Reuben (aka Robin) Fior design the early posters of the Committee of 100. Robin Fior, who died in 2012, was a socialist designer. He was also known as Reuben Fior. These posters and a larger version, were posted widely in London in 1961, and few seem to have survived.... Both Bertrand Russell and Hugh McDiarmid took part in the sit-down demonstration. The poster has been loosely folded but should be restored easily to as-new appearance. The poster measures 28 1/2” x 20” (71 x 50 cm.) One photo is taken with side light to give a better impression of condition.
