High quality 19-th Century Embroidered Sleeve bands. Matching mirror pair. This is an extremely well done pair of Sleeve Bands that Date 1870 to 1880. I believe Military Official related. Excellent condition. The stitching is in fine condition. The design and subject and these are extremely beautiful and I would consider a rare as I tried to research another similar pair. I found nothing of this design. I have a feeling this is military related because of the different animals which in...cludes bats FOO dogs & black panther or Leopard & lion & stag or deer and a military (horse ?) with a shield ( most bottom animal) there are no birds on these sleeves which leads me to believe this is not civilian related. The foliage and the rocks are also well done as well as the clouds. Overall exquisite. Size overall 7” wide by 20” high when placed next to each other. This is the embroidered size. Then there is a plain band that is an extra 13” so these would be 3.5” x33” each when fully extended or 7x33” fully extended. S&H is $15 usps Priority mail.
