Original Description:
An extremely rare Christmas Day menu from the 251st Coast artillery Territory of Hawaii dated 1941!. The menu was printed in the same month as Pearl Harbor. The unit was transfered hurredly from California to Ghelp guard against Japanese attack in Hawaii after the decision to move the fleet from the west coast to the islands. This was principaly a Anti-Aircraft gun battalion. As with most army and navy units , half the men were on leave for the weekend and the unit was credited with 2 ...shot down planes on the day of the attack. The condition is poor with heavy water staining and loose staples but still a piece of history.
