Great Shape !MINT - Never Used 1930's - 1950's NOTE: You can tell these are the 1930's to WWII to early 1950's era because of the felt Navy Blue background material they used in the back - they were using mostly Navy Blue Twill after 1952, so this is one of the earlier ones. After the War when techniques improved, you would get more rounded type fonts. This is on FELT - not the navy blue twill background you normally see. These are almost NEVER seen not sewn on - usually the only way to get one is from a very old Sea Scout Uniforms.A Sea Scout Official BSA National Issue.Just in great shape which is extremely difficult for the felt ones!!!Very Scarce(Note- Patches are scanned sometimes while in their plastic bags so you may see glare or reflections or faded or folded areas because of the plastic.)Several Felt Early Sea, Air & Land Scout number issues are on our OTHER auction listings.Most are Mint or Unused OLDER ISSUES.Mgd=Merged, JSP=Jamboree Shoulder Patch, DJ=the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee for BSA in 1985, NJ=National Jamboree, WJ=World Jamboree, PL or PL Back=Plain Back, embroidered, no plastic, PB=Plastic Back, Annv.=Anniversary Issue, CP=Council Patch, not CSP shaped, usually round and worn on pocket-not shoulder, T=Twill background version / not fully embroidered, S=Solid background / fully embroidered, fdl=Fluer-de-lis or Scout Emblem was added
