If you have vintage Case XX kitchen knives or are collecting and/or using fine vintage kitchen knives of ANY maker, this Quality sharpening Steel... is one of the finest you'll ever find for keeping them at the peak of sharpness, the perfect thing to keep them honed to a razor's edge. It's also one of the MOST difficult to find in ANY condition, simply because Case didn't mark the majority of their sharpening steels, so they often go unrecognized.
Better still, this one IS marked and is of the very finest quality the company ever produced, found here used but still in excellent condition, as you can see. it was made with a ridged rod for brightening a blade of virtually any size, larger or small.
No damage or problems of any kind to steel, no cracks or chips in turned walnut handle.
Comes with a steel finger-guard to keep your fingers where they belong--on you hand.
Don't let it slip away!No-one makes one that can outperform the Case XX cutlery of this vintage.
