Vintage Blonde #3 Ponytail Barbie.
She is all original (except I added an elastic to the bottom of her ponytail) . What stands her apart from her peers is that she shows such minor signs of play wear. Her make-up and nails are all original.
She retains her darkish eyebrows, brown eye shadow, mascara, nose dots, lipstick, and even her blush.
Both of her ears are pierced. Her hair is very soft. She retains her original topknot and you can see, if you look closely, signs of... its rubber band deteriorating.
She has tight limbs and extraordinary nail paint on her feet and hands. Her torso is pinker than her limbs or face.
She will arrive with her original swimsuit.
Please assume she was played with. For instance, there are hints of a faint red hue on the bottom of her feet where her shoes might have been worn at one time.
She is not out-of-the-box perfect, but she has the prettiest #3 face I have ever seen.
Provenance: I purchased Barbie and some of her awesome early outfits from the stepbrother of the original owner. He shared that his mom used love to buy dolls for his stepsister. The box containing Barbie still had many of the littlest accessories for the early outfits she had and the items did not show much play wear. For instance the tights from Barbie's ballerina outfit are still on their cardboard forms.
