This Madame Alexander Joanie doll is from the late 50’s to early 60’s. She was only made for 2 years. She is clean and ready for display. She has no cracks or breaks. She has blue flirty eyes. They move side to side when her head is tilted, and all her eyelashes. Madame Alexander doll’s have a reputation for having uneven skin tones. She does have the common line marks on her torso and legs. Please refer to her photos. But she does have nice skin tone. So much better than most. I... have added a little color to her cheeks. This can be washed off with soap and water, if desired. This Joanie has had a hair cut. It is in a pixie cut, which was actually popular back in the 60’s. I think she still looks adorable. I am also including 3 gorgeous Cathie Lee doll wigs. They have been specially made for this size doll and are very high quality. The wigs are like new and come in the colors of Carrot, Platinum, and Brunette. Her rooted hair is actually in good condition, except for the hair cut. She has the typical dented heels. No cracks in them and it doesn’t affect her standing or walking. Joanie is a walker doll and she walks great! Joanie comes in her Vintage blue and white organza party dress, a new blue crinoline slip, that I made for her, new black patent leather reproduction doll shoes, socks, panties and 2 hair bows. I recommend a doll stand with all Playpal-type dolls. She comes from an adult collector’s smoke free, pet free home.
