This is an Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Silk EmbroideredRank Badge. It is a ninth-rank ParadiseFlycatcher Civil Rank Badge done in gold thread on black silk. The badge likely dates to the 19thCentury. It is framed and under glass. Thebadge is 11" wide and 10 1/2" tall. Theframe is 13" wide and 12 1/2" tall. Thebadge is in excellent aged condition. The frame is in very good aged condition, it has some minor scuffs andding...s and minor scratches in the glass commensurate with age.
