A Very Dynamic and Beautiful Antique Chinese late Qing Dynasty to Early Republic Period Bronze Tripod Censor with an Intricately carved open work Wood Lid that maintains a Beautifully carved Carnelian Finial topped with a Apple Green Jade Ball in a Silver Mount. The Bronze Censor is Wonderfully Incised throughout the body with Foliage, Clouds, a Dragon?, a Bat?, etc. and it bears Character Marks within a circle that's below what appears to be the Bat. The Censor does have two Elephants... with Rings as Handles and is Signed at the bottom. This Impressive Bronze Censor is in Very Good Condition - the Carved Wood Lid does have three very tiny nicks in the open work (a little wood stain would correct it easily or it could be left alone and it still presents well - as seen in the last image). This Magnificent Antique Censor with it's Beautiful Lid measures 8 5/16 inches tall by 10 7/8 inches across at the Elephants and the body of the Censor measures 7 5/16 inches in diameter . This Incredible and Intricately Executed Censor and Lid would enhance any Asian Arts Collection, any Chinese Bronze Collection, any Beautiful Home or would make a perfect gift for someone special. Thank you for viewing this Very Beautiful Piece, have a wonderful day and be good to one another! Note: I would greatly appreciate a 5 star rating, being that Ebay judges sellers with this system and charges more to sellers who don't maintain this rating and it also effects the placement of our listings; I describe the items as they are, give a detailed condition report and mention all damage, if any at all; I ask that you keep in mind that antiques and vintage items in good condition will usually show a small amount of wear, as expected, due to their age, which is why I may call something excellent condition, very good condition, good condition or fair condition, but I will not call something pristine or mint, unless it has never been used or handled and shows no wear, due to age and handling; I will ship within 3 days of your paying for the item, if not sooner; I will answer all questions, so don't hesitate to ask (there are no silly questions); I am happy to add more photos, though I tend to put the maximum in the listing, so as to show all the detail of the antique, jewelry or Art; when it comes to shipping, I sometimes pay for the shipping costs and if for some reason I have to charge - I only charge for a portion of the actual shipping charges (I don't charge for bubble wrap, insurance or delivery confirmation) and if we save any money at all on shipping, I will refund that amount to you; should the shipping cost more than you are charged, I will absorb the added cost and it'll be my gift to you; should something be damaged in shipment, all I ask is that you contact me right away and then take the item and it's original packaging back to the Post Office for inspection, at which time I will refund your money and make you whole, prior to my getting the insurance settlement (fortunately we pack everything extremely well). Therefore, if you are dissatisfied with your purchase in any way or if you are unhappy for any reason, please contact me as soon as possible, so we can work together toward a positive solution. I, upon receiving your feedback, will reciprocate! I believe, as my mentor says: "We were placed on this Earth to see one another through - not to see through one another" and I want everyone to have a very positive buying experience and hopefully add me to their favorites list.
