Being offered for your consideration is this antique Railroad Lantern by Armspear Mfg. Co. The lantern is dated 1919 and has all parts shown with all four of the original lenses. There are two red and two green lenses. Most of if not all of the burner is present (see images). The hood support has two rivets broken with another support being broken (see images). The lamp has several coats of paint which has protected the metal over the years. There is no denting except fo...r some minor edge denting to the visors and no rust to speak of. The interior paint looks very nice and still has a gloss to it (see images). I placed a bulb in the interior so you can see the condition of the lenses. One of the red lenses has a hairline crack which stops halfway down and is secured from further damage by the inner rings (see images). All the lenses are clean with lots of clarity. There is a company plaque in place as well as the original brass latch, hinge and adjustment screw for the burner. The piece measures 12 3/3" tall not counting the bail handle and 9 3/4" wide. A nice old railroad lantern dated 1919! We carefully bubble wrap and pack each piece with plenty of shipping peanuts to insure your items arrive safely.
