For sale is a beautiful pair of Antique Classic Sioux (Lakota) Beaded Moccasins from circa the 1880s.
This pair is made of native tanned hide, sinew sewn, with rawhide soles and a calico rim sewn with thread. The uppers are beaded, sinew sewn in classic Lakota designs, using bead colors white, dark blue, rose-white-heart, and pea green. A collection number is written in ink on both soles.
