Vintage 1986 Pleasant Company American Girl Samantha Doll.
She is one of the first 3 American Girl dolls.
Samantha comes in her original tagged 1986 dress, matching hair tie, tights and shoes. Dress is in excellent condition with no issues noted. Tights have worn elastic at waist.
She is in excellent, clean condition. Lashes are full. She can stand on her own, and arms can hold a pose. Eyes open and close freely. She has a very small light... pink spot in the blush area of her left cheek. You can see it if you zoom in on the picture of her face, but it's nothing major. Her hair could use a light restyling, as it is getting a bit dry. When I put my face up close to the doll, I can smell a slight odor from storage, so you may want to air her out when you get her. American Girl hair brush in pictures, is not included in this auction.
She looks like she was barely, if at all, played with.
Box has some wear and surface soiling from storage. There is a white paper heart on the box that is stamped, K D H. I don't know what that means.
