On offer this week, for the first (and possibly only!) time on SeaGems is another extremely rarely available, very special heart urchin - Echinolampas chuni (Döderlein, 1905) 32.5 mm Balut Island, Philippines. Almost certainly missing from most collections, and in absolutely flawless condition. This is a striking piece with stunning, contrasting symmetry and with its natural spines.
