Antique 21”TETE JUMEAU Bisque Doll Incised 1907 and Red stamped TETE JUMEAU and #9 on back of head. This doll is all original except for her beautiful orange vintage dress and matching bonnet. She has an open mouth with six upper teeth. The head is beautiful with smooth and creamy bisque. Her finely painted eyelashes above and below her fantastic blue paperweight eyes are perfect, as are her beautiful brush stroked eyebrows. Cheeks are perfect with no marks, as is her beautiful ...rose colored highlighted heart shaped lips. Her human hair, light brown wig is original and beautiful, and has been combed out and is attached to her large cork pate. The head is connected to the body with her original JUMEAU spring. Pictures show 2 small mold cracks at top of heads crown that were made when head was fired. No damage. Same picture shows a cleaning tool scratch , not a hairline. Head has been lighted and NO damage. Her original JUMEAU body is very nice with some repainted areas, and has BEBE JUMEAU label on back. She is wearing her original JUMEAU white socks and beautiful vintage red leather shoes with heels. Soles are marked with a 8 on soles. Doll is wearing antique pantaloons and under dress. Her replaced outstanding vintage dress is orange with lots of lace trim, and orange lining. Dress was fashioned by Mary Lambeth. I have a picture that shows this doll with her best of show ribbon she won in a Florida doll show.
