#1 original Blonde Ponytail Barbie with original swimsuit. Mattel Barbie Graduation Robe (#945) and Mattel Barbie Cotton Casual (#912) dress included. No cap, diploma or collar with the robe. These were gifts years later from a friend who also had a Barbie.The face, makeup and hair are in near new condition.Original owner. Purchased new in 1959 with allowance money.
The ponytail and hair has never been restyled. The ponytail band we think has been replaced.Swimsuit is original ...with this 1959 purchase and has blue rather than black stripes. It's always been that color.Earrings are not original. They are large-headed sewing pins and have left no metallic color on the skin.No shoes.The feet tubes are original and looked exactly as pictured when purchased. i.e., one is protruding out a little.The catalog is missing the front and back cover pages.All fingers are intact. A couple of nail polish chips are present.
