DESCRIPTION:
This listing ...is for one superbly preserved large Otodus / fossil shark's tooth from Morocco. Each tooth will arrive in its own special black velvet pouch. The teeth are a great size and average 35mm - 40mm tall with extremely well preserved detail and serrations on the sides. These Shark Teeth are from the Otodus species of shark that patrolled the seas of Morocco around the Eocene period 56 to 33.9 million years ago. When a sharks' teeth become worn the predator will ‘shed’ these teeth, and these will be replaced with new sharper, stronger teeth. However, unlike humans, Sharks are known for re-shedding hundreds of teeth on a regular basis, which makes them a fruitful find with fossil hunters. Please see the photos for more details on the condition of this specimen.
✔ The image shows the ACTUAL SPECIMEN you will receive unless otherwise stated.✔ We only sell the finest minerals, crystals & fossils. Please remember this when comparing
our specimens with others.✔ Please also check the sizes of competitors' specimens. Many photograph their specimens
to appear much larger than they actually are, resulting in disappointment. We usually include
a 1cm cube in at least one of the photographs to give a sense of scale.✔ All our minerals, crystals & fossils are ethically sourced and are 100% natural specimens
just as they come out of the ground.✔ We NEVER sell altered, embellished, dyed or artificially
enhanced specimens, such as screaming fluorescent agates, 'day glow' dyed amethysts
or 'aura' vapour coated crystals.✔ Any questions?... just ask or message us via the eBay messaging system. We're here to help.
