Wonderful and meaty with a nice flat spot in center of enamel showing crowding during formation in the file. This and all our listed teeth are personally collected and cleaned by the seller from the Yorktown or Hawthorne Formation, in the deep Atlantic Ocean off North Carolina between 80 and 120 ft deep. All our teeth are 100% natural, with never a repair or restoration. To best prepare the fossil for display, ocean debris is gently cleaned off the tooth with apple-cider vinegar and warm water, then the tooth is preserved with liquid silicone spray. Periodic touch-up with silicone spray will maintain the glossy shine and deep color contrast. Measurements are taken with digital calipers to show L1 (longest angle dimension from root corner to tip), L2 (shorter angle dimension from root corner to tip), Width (widest measurement across the root), then weighed on a digital scale.
