Description/Interesting Notes: An unusual example of quartz with dolomite from this classic locale!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of sharp, lustrous dolomite crystals that host a lone, razor-sharp "beta" quartz crystal prominently perched among them!!! In person the quartz crystal almost looks like a gemstone placed a...top a dolomite cluster!!! The quartz crystal is completely natural and unrepaired - upon close inspection one can see the dolomite crystal intergrown with the quartz as well!!! The quartz crystal exhibits razor-sharp faces with bright, glassy luster, gemmy clarity, and a unique smoky phantom within!!! The crystal exhibits characteristic "beta" form - being a sharp, equant, doubly terminated crystal!!! The dolomite crystals are quite lustrous as well and appear very sparkly in person!!! This specimen is complete and undamaged!!! A rare and unusual example of quartz from this famous locale!!! This specimen hosts a characteristic matrix on the reverse and retains an unattributed catalogue number as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
