Hello and thank you for viewing our listing. Today you are purchasing one extremely beautiful and rare part slice specimen of NWA10214 Chondrite LL3 Meteorite from North West Africa. This classification will be perhaps one of the most rare and sought after meteorites in history! This is one stunning meteorite and with a special makeup. I have found a Carbonaceous clast within the stunning matrix and I have been asked to co-author a paper on this special inclusion! Thank you Dr. Alan Ru...bin for the opportunity to partake in such an honorable and monumental moment in my meteorite career. The paper has been published in MAPS. There will be constant revisions as I am making most of the classification available to Dr. Rubin for continued research and study. As you will find in the published 48 pages of data, Dr. Rubin found my stone to be even more of a knockout! There are actually 6 or 7 separate meteorites embedded within the matrix. L5's, LL's, Carbonaceous clasts AND, the "Chimeric" clast! This clast is a NEW meteorite within itself. You must take time to read the publication, it will blow your mind! If you seriously collect meteorites, you must have this classification in your collection. NWA10214 is better than my LL3.00 NWA8576! Better than Semarkona! Bet ya! Enjoy, I will slowly be letting go of this material. I am in no hurry to flood the market, especially since it is more important for Dr. Rubin to do his work on the remaining specimens and mass. I am releasing 16 specimens today. I am not sure of the next time I will release any more as I have to fly to UCLA first for meetings with the remaining specimens/mass. I will also never be auctioning this material. It is too close to me and important to science to "gamble". Sorry if that is what some of you will be waiting for. I am just being honest. She's my baby.
My catalog number is G596-0011 and weighs in at 2.77 grams and comes in a quality gem case with my card of authenticity. Just so everyone knows, I am the only person to have ever prepped my material, NWA8559 Howardite, to the exception of Mr. Cilz. I have designed a COA for NWA10214, as I do with all of my classifications for provenance. The specimen you see is the exact specimen you will receive. Each card comes with catalog number, weight and my signature of authenticity. Thanks again for viewing. Cheers!
