Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of titanite with adularia and chlorite from this classic locale in Switzerland!!! This specimen hosts a large, sharply twinned crystal of lime green titanite prominently perched on a matrix covered with dark green, chlorite-i...ncluded adularia crystals!!! The 3.4cm titanite crystal is sharply terminated with brilliant, glassy faces and marked translucence!!! Although a section of the crystal is missing, the main portion of the crystal and termination are otherwise complete and undamaged!!! There are several other smaller crystals scattered about as well!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of Herb Obodda and retains its original collection label in addition to a much older, very detailed, unattributed label as well!!! This specimen likely dates to the 19th century!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
