Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of willemite var. troostite on calcite from Sterling Hill!!! This specimen hosts a large, robust single crystal of willemite var. troostite prominently perched atop a calcite matrix!!! The crystal is doubly terminated and exhibits char...acteristic orangey color with marked luster!!! The specimen is well balanced and quite handsome in person!!! The fluorescence is bold and dramatic as well!!! The willemite crystal exhibits intense green fluorescence and the calcite exhibits bright orange fluorescence under SW UV!!! Classic material!!!
