Virgil Ortiz ( Born 1969, Cochiti Pueblo), is an artist, potter, fashion designer and photographer. His work is exhibited at “National Museum of the American Indian”, “ Sledelijk Museum” Netherland, and “ Museum of Indian art and culture” Albuquerque. He is well known for his edgy pottery figures ( old style Mono).he won his first award at Santa Se Indian Marker, when He was 14 years old. He sees himself not as innovator but as a “ Revivalist”. This is a beautiful figur...e in perfect conditions, bought at a Santa Fe Gallery N.M.
