DESCRIPTION

FOR SALE:This is from a very large camera estate in western PA that has been sitting unused in storage for many years. Note: I am not a photographer, collector nor expert. I am selling estate items. I am not able to assess condition in any professional manner. This item is being sold AS IS and may need cleaning and restoration to be used. Sold for parts or restoration. PLEASE ask any questions important to your satisfaction BEF...ORE bidding.
ITEM: This is appears to be a very rare find. Under 3000 made. It is a Kodak Model A Daylight box camera from the early 1890's. You can see the patent dates, and the lettering "The Eastman Company Rochester NY USA" on the inside front. The label on the bottom front reads "In ordering supplies for this Camera always specify For the A DAYLIGHT KODAK." The box of the camera measures about 7 1/4 by 4 by 3 3/8 inches is a covered with black leather - that is now brittle and worn in places. There are two boxes inside that held film. I'm not how this works. From looking on line, I see that the shutter was run by string. The string is gone. I don't know if anything else is missing. I can't test this at all. I'm selling for parts or restoration. Since I do not know the working condition or the completeness, please bid accordingly. I do not accept returns because you feel you overpaid, or it is not what YOU eppected. Please see pictures and ask any questions important to your satisfaction.
