For sale is a San lldefonso pottery black on black jar, from Maria and Julian Martinez, from the period 1925-1943. Size is 5 3/4" in height and 6 3/4" in diameter. Condition is very good, some surface abrasions and wear. I apologize for the quality of the photos, in plain light the hand applied designs by Julian do not show well, so I photographed them with a flash, which does show all the surface wear, but also makes the designs brighter than they appear in normal li...ght.
