Something for everyone!This is a recently found Atwater Kent 7 Breadboard Type 4066 with five brass-based, tipped 01A's. Four tubes have good filaments and one is display only. I have not done anything to the set other than to modestly clean the board and the ...components.The breadboard is in excellent condition for an open radio from 1923. All the components are in excellent condition and will be mint with some elbow grease. Paint on the TA and RF transformers is Geronimo Grey (Green) and basically great. One RF transformer has some minor paint flaking, see photographs!. The transformer coils and the TA unit show the proper continuity!.The board itself is in great shape! The only considerations are the changes. This radio was modified originally to include a Pacent Multi Jack from 1922 which allowed the use of three headphones. As you can see in the photos, the potentiometer was flipped to make room on the front of the board for headphones. You can see the period wiring on the bottom for same. There is also a on/off installed...everything from the past. If you don't like it, just reverse it ! The wiring on the underside of the board looks period and typical with little resoldering. There are no factory tags present.I have tried to take good photographs and they represent the condition quite well. If you have any questions, please ask! If you are looking for a good Model 4066 , this is it! With a simple clean-up and a couple of restoration routines, you will have a very fine AK 7, like no other!!! Or, just leave it alone and put it on the shelf...up to you! Shipping weight will be about 18 pounds... I will pack all items properly and with great care.
