Offered here is a 1968 Zippo Presentation Lighter for Nguyễn Văn Thiệu who was the president of South Vietnam from 1965 to 1975. He was a general in the Army of the Republic of Vietnam who became head of a military junta before becoming president. The lighter is engraved withe the map of Vietnam and the reverse shows it was presented to Capt. Than C. Nguyen of the Sout Viet Nam Marine Corp (SVNMC) War College Staff. The high polish Zippo is used and shows some pocket wear. The hinge is slightly loose. The wick is missing but the auction includes a replacement wick. The flint has been removed from the insert to protect the case from damage. Please review images for more condition information.
