WELCOME TO OUR SHORT 3 DAY AUCTION FOR THIS VERY COOL AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND VINTAGE BUT NEVER USED NEW/OLD STOCK ZIPPO PATENT 2517191/PATENT PENDING MARKED ADVERTISING CIGARETTE LIGHTER FOR THE LEGENDARY BEECHCRAFT SUPER 18 TWIN ENGINE CIVILIAN AND MILITARY AIRCRAFT and dating from between 1950 and 1957. It was never fired and it shows. Everything about the lighter is as new with a tight hinge and hardly a scratch on the original insert-notice the original insert has the patent number and not the "Pat. Pend.". These don't come along this nice very often. The box is very nice with some storage wear and still retains the silky insert in the top of the box, though not pictured. You'll be hard pressed to find another Town And Country Beechcraft Super 18 lighter IN ANY condition, let alone one as mint as this one.
