Very Scarce and Early Scripted Sasieni Four Dot "Derwent" Rusticated Dublin Pipe
The Derwent was made only briefly and was the counterpart to the "Haslemere" pipe. The Haslemere was the smooth version and the Derwent was the Rustic finish version. Rarely seen. Condition is excellent. Has only light carbon on the bowl rim. Stem is excellent with earlier 4 blue dot configuration on top of the stem. Earliest Sasieni scripted (with fish tail) version. Has strong nomenclature. Very diffi...cult to find! The vintage Sasieni satin sleeve is included to protect this vintage briar.
