Here come the last of my best tube radios. Over the next couple weeks I will be selling the last 8 (possibly 9) of my antique 1920s tube radios (including a DeForest D-10 and D-12, each with its original loop antenna). I will be listing a radio every day or two. This is because they're large and heavy, and difficult to safely pack for shipping, so I don't want to have to pack and ship more than one at a time. I also have a power supply I made for use with early ...radios and a tube tester which I will be selling toward the end of the sale, so please check my other auctions from time to time. No Reserve. This set is a beautifully elegant 1924 Atwater Kent 6-Tube Model 12 Breadboard Radio, the largest and one the last breadboard radios made by Atwater Kent (please see photos). As you can see, it's in excellent condition, especially considering its age of nearly 100 years. All battery hookup wires are present and in good shape (see schematic). The six tubes all test good with no shorts and are as follows (from left to right in the first photo):CX301ACX301AStewart Warner 01A (highly collectible on its own merits)
