A  rare and interesting antique figurative bracket from a 19th century East India company ship Sailing vessels made in India were bought by the British and used to transport tin from Cornwall to India and china in the 19th centurySalvaged from a Sailing vessel in Cornwall England and dates from the period 1820-1840This would have been a bracket piece outside the captains cabin and is in the form of a Indian female deity or PrincessCarved hard wood with aged patinaMeasures: Height ...20 inches 50 cm weight 2 KG approx Presented on a metal stand.
